It’s a question of vocally describing a site. Five sites: in the World, at the edge of the sea. Five sites where enough elements intermingle so that I can deconstruct them into five performances.
Sometimes friends ask me, when they see how interested I am by the animals around me, where the interest comes from. It was in part to answer this question that I embarked on Oralieu: an investigation. To describe a site, I do not use my imagination, but rather things I already know, the observation of an animal, or information gathered at different moments. The whole forms a body of knowledge, but a body of knowledge that is neither cold nor objective. In Oralieu, knowledge is poetic.
Oralieu considers a human happy with everything that links him to his surroundings. A human curious about his attachments. A joyous ecology, not alarmist or depressive.
